Thiruvananthapuram: Corona cases are increasing day by day in Kerala. 2,375 new cases of corona infection were reported in Kerala on Tuesday and the total cases of the virus have reached 60,000. With the death of 10 more patients, the total death toll has reached 244. State Health Minister K.K in a release stated that out of the new cases that have come out, 2,141 people got infected while the source of infection of 174 people is not been known yet.

61 people have returned from abroad and 118 people have come from other states. Health Minister further said that the number of people suffering from corona in the state is 61,878, while 40,343 people have been cured so far. At present, treatment of 21,232 people is underway. If we talk about the Corona case of the country, then the number of patients has crossed the figure of 32 lakhs. On Wednesday, once again there was a surge in cases of coronavirus.

On Wednesday, 67,151 new cases were revealed. But the matter of relief is that the number of people recovering from corona has exceeded 24.5 million and the investigation has increased. According to the data updated on Wednesday morning, the death toll has risen to 59,449 with 1,059 deaths in the last 24 hours.
