New Delhi, In a shocking incident, an AIIMS doctor injected herself with some poisonous substance at her flat in IP Extension in east Delhi in an ease to commit suicide.

According to police, " 30-year-old Dr Ritu Bangoti allegedly took the extreme step at her flat in Kurmanchal Apartment of IP Extension yesterday evening".

It was reported that the deceased was having strained relations with her husband. Also, the police was told by the neighbours that the couple had frequent fights over domestic issues.

Brajesh, the husband of deceased Dr. Ritu was questioned by the police for several hours.
