Chennai: In Tamil Nadu, the cases of corona are increasing day by day. 5684 new cases of corona have been reported on Thursday and after that, the total number of infected people has crossed the figure of 2.80 lakh. A total of 67153 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours and so far more than 30.20 lakh samples have been tested. Apart from this, so far 53486 active patients reported in the state. 

According to the Health and Welfare Department of Tamil Nadu, 5684 new positive cases of coronavirus have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours. After this, the total number of infected people has reached 2,79,144. In fact, 110 infected people have died here for the fourth consecutive day. Apart from this, 4571 infected people have died due to this epidemic in the state so far. The recovery rate in the state has also increased.

The number of people recovering more than the patients was higher on Thursday. Apart from this, the Health Department has released a report, according to which 6272 corona epidemics have been cured on Wednesday, after which 2,21,087 people have completely recovered from Covid-19 so far. It is being told that the recovery rate of infected patients in the state has reached 79.20 percent, which was 78.55 percent on Wednesday, while the death rate has come down to 1.63 percent.
