New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, India has registered 6,650 new corona cases, down 11.3 per cent from yesterday. Meanwhile, 374 people have died of coronavirus in the country in the past day. After which a total of 4,79,133 deaths have been registered. 7,051 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. After which 3,42,15,977 people have recovered from corona in the country so far.

The same active cases are less than 1 per cent of the total cases. It's currently 77,516. In the last 24 hours, 57,44,652 doses of the corona vaccine have been administered in the country, with 1,40,31,63,063 doses so far under vaccination drives in the country. Coming to Omicron, 358 cases of omicrons have been reported in the country so far. However, 104 of these patients have become infection-free or have moved elsewhere. These cases have come to light in 17 states and Union Territories.

PM Narendra Modi reviewed the current epidemic situation at a high-level meeting on Thursday amid rising cases of omicrons in India, while 7,495 new corona cases were registered yesterday and 434 patients died, up 18.6 per cent from Wednesday. Currently, active cases meant less than one per cent to 0.23 per cent. These were the lowest since March 2020. Yesterday, 6,960 patients recovered from the corona. After which the recovery rate was reduced to 98.40 per cent. Which was the highest since March 2020. Yesterday the daily transition rate is at 0.62 per cent, which was below 2 per cent for the past 80 days. The weekly transition rate was 0.59 per cent.
