Actor Ayushmann Khurrana who is one of the best emerging actors in the Bollywood industry, he had given many successful hit his one of the very first movie was Vickey Donar which a hit and then he was seen in Nautanki Sala where he didn't receive much attention but after that he was seen opposite to Sonam Kapoor in the movie Bewakoofiyaan which was again hit and the actor then didn't stop. His movie debut in Vickey Donar in which is playing the role of Delhite, it wasn’t just this role that drew him closer to the Capital. “Delhi has always been my second home. My entire maternal family stays in Delhi,” says Ayushmann, opening about his relationship with the city.

On a recent trip to the city, when the actor indulged in conversation about his relationship with Delhi, the peppiness in his voice was evident. “I miss Appu Ghar — the amusement park of the yesteryears,” exclaims Ayushmann, and gradually, the Chandigarh-born star’s affiliations with Delhi, start showing up. “I’ve always visited the book fair at Pragati Maidan.

I like the smell of the old paper in the books. So, that place used to be like a candy shop for me. I love the feel of the Khan Market, especially in winters,” says Ayushmann, who was recently seen in two back to back films — Shubh Mangal Savdhan and Bareilly Ki Barfi. The actor’s gastronomic tryst with the capital is good enough to advise any food lover to try the best of the delicacies available here. “When you’re in Delhi, it’s most important that you go for the late night eating joints. Not just Pandora Road, but also Old Delhi and Chacha’s joint just outside India Habitat Centre; it serves mouth-watering kebabs and phirni.” Now, this is one lip-smacking advice!
