Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra, who started off his Bollywood journey with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year, has turned a year older today. As the handsome hunk turns 33 today, there is so much more to the lover boy he plays onscreen. For his fans, there is a mischief in his eyes, and for others, it’s his rawness in front of the camera that makes him naive yet attractive. Furthermore, Sidharth Malhotra is all set to impress us with his upcoming film Aiyaary. The movie is based on the story of Indian soldiers; hence the actor was recently seen promoting it with the armed forces.

Fact 1. Student Of The Year wasn’t supposed to be Sidharth’s debut film.

Yes, Sidharth was supposed to make his Bollywood debut with Fashion, opposite Priyanka Chopra. However, due to contractual obligations with Glad rags he couldn’t take up the project.

2. Sid as Prithviraj Chauhan

Well, you might haven’t noticed this, but Sidharth Malhotra played a role in Sagar Pictures’ Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan which aired on Star Plus’ from 2006 to 2009. While, Rajat Tokas essayed the role of younger Prithviraj Chauhan, Sidharth Malhotra was seen as Jaichand.

3. Sid favorite sports is ‘Rugby’

This Delhi boy is totally into sports. In fact, if he doesn’t play, he gets restless. Though, he loves almost all the games, he is in love with Rugby. He even goes on a run with his dog ‘Oscar’ and admits that Oscar’s stamina is far better than him.

4. Sidharth is also a gadget freak.

He loves mobiles phones, I pod, music players, laptops and computers and owns a lot of gadgets. He loves listening to music too.

5. He loves sketching cartoons
