Now after Bihar, there is a new law for liquor in Goa too. Chief Minister of Goa said that drinking in public place will be banned in the from next month. If a person violates the law then heavy fines will be charged from him. CM Parrikar has said that rules will be issued soon to the new law. It is expected that before the 15th of August, the penalty system will be implemented in the state.

Manohar Parrikar issued a public warning saying that if any person was found drinking alcohol at a public place from next month, heavy fines would be imposed on him. This amount of fine can be up to Rs. 2500 or more. Parrikar said that the notification will be issued soon in this context. CM Parrikar has expressed the desire to implement this law in the month of August so that it can be started by August 15.

CM said that people drinking in the public place empty the bottles and leave the rest in the same area, which leads to the spread of dirt. Due to dirt, other citizens coming to these places have to face a huge problem. CM said that if any empty bottles or dirt was found thrown at a public place, then the penalty amount would be recovered from them. He said that some students also consume alcohol and beer. Some of these students have also been caught by the River Front area. Although at that time he was warned and left. But in the future, if such an incident comes out again, strict action will be taken.
