The year 2018 will see many fresh pairs on the big screen. One of the pairs coming together will be Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The film went on the floor on Saturday afternoon in Mumbai. It is just second day of the shoot and Alia's look in the film has already got leaked. We got our hands on some photographs in which Alia can be seen on the sets. Her head is covered with scarf and like always she has a smile on her face. We were aware that the last two weeks have been all about prepping for the movie, however, it seems like the movie has finally gone on floors today. On Monday afternoon, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt along with Zoya Akhtar were shooting in Dharavi, Mumbai. Alia was seen in a printed dress with a hijaab in the leaked images from the set. Ranveer was donning a simple look with a tee, shirt and denim. He was carrying a backpack. From the leaked images, one can see Zoya explaining scenes to the two leading actors.

During breaks, Alia was seen sipping juice and energizing herself for the shoot day. Reportedly, Ranveer has already been recording songs with the help of a few well-known street rappers and Alia and Ranveer had various script-reading sessions in the past few weeks too. Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' marks the first onscreen collaboration of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The film, based on the lives of two rappers Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy will see Ranveer put on display his rapping skills and reportedly, Kalki Koechlin too has joined the cast and will play a rapper like Ranveer.
