Twins affirmed allegedly dead by doctors in Delhi hospital family found alive

In a dreadful happening, premature twins were purportedly affirmed dead by doctors of Max Hospital in Shalimar Bagh and handed over to their parents who recovered that one of them was alive only when they were on their way to offer the final rituals. The police to take action on lodged complaint filed by the family.

The family of twins stated that their 20-year-old daughter-in-law Varsha gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, in morning on November 30. The doctors purportedly affirmed the girl stillborn and the boy was declared dead a couple of hours later.

On November 29, the doctors purportedly said to the family that there was a danger to Varsha’s life and she needs to be operated upon for delivery of the children.

The twins were born around 7.30 a.m.  And the doctors purportedly said to the family that the girl was stillborn.

Though, around 12.30 p.m., a lady doctor purportedly told the family that the boy is dead.

 The family reported both the twins were then supposedly wrapped in sheets and plastic and handed over after an hour.

The family took the boy to a nursing home in Pitampura where he is being monitored.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (north-west) Aslam Khan informed that the police are sending documents to the Delhi Medical Council and the Medical Council of India for suggestion.

for the moment, Max Hospital, in a statement, told they are “shaken and worried at this rare incident” and have initiated a detailed probe.
