For the second time in a row, The Pink City of Udaipur has been declared as the 3rd Best city of the World by Travel + Leisure. The History of Udaipur hints towards the Maharanas of Mewar who existed during the 16th century and built this beautiful city.
It is a pleasure indeed to inform you that Udaipur has managed to grab the 3rd place in the list declared by Travel + Leisure, amongst the 15 best cities of the World.
The cities that grabbed the first and the second position were San Miguel de Allende and Oaxaca respectively.
The Travel +Leisure had considered Udaipur as a major Tourist hotspot in the year 2017, according to a poll.
Udaipur has been ranked on the 3rd position considering its sights and landmarks, culture, cuisine, friendliness of the people, shopping and a lot more.
Talking about India, apart from Udaipur, Mumbai and Delhi have also been counted as the major Tourist destinations in our country.
Considering its beauty and rich heritage, Udaipur has also been referred as the City of Lakes and the Venice of the East. Counting some of its most beautiful destinations, Lake Pichola in the south Rajasthan has continued to pull a large number of tourists in the recent years.
