Two candlelight vigils will be conducted in remembrance of Halyna Hutchins, the late cinematographer who was killed in an accident on the set of the western 'Rust' in New Mexico. The activities were published on the Local 600 International Cinematographers Guild's Facebook page, according to media sources.

A first vigil will be held at the Albuquerque Civic Plaza in Albuquerque on Saturday evening, and a second will be held at the IATSE Local 80 headquarters in Burbank, California on Sunday. "Let us all take a moment to remember Halyna and her accomplishments while also grieving together. Please bring a candle and join us for a candlelight vigil in honour of Halyna "The following is a quote from the guild's statement.

The guild has also launched a GoFundMe page to raise funds for Hutchins' family, which union members and others may contribute to. Halyna Hutchins, a young cinematographer, died on Thursday as a result of injuries received when a pretend handgun was discharged on set in an on-set mishap involving veteran actor Alec Baldwin.

Her husband, Matthew, and their nine-year-old kid survive her. Since Hutchins' unexpected passing, several directors and colleagues have paid homage to her. "I shall miss you friend, This is awful," director James Cullen Bressack said on Hutchins' most recent Instagram picture.
