Adilabad: Assistant Sub Inspector died in a road accident in Nredikonda mandal in Adilabad district. According to the information received, V. V. Asi working as ANSI at Utnoor police station in Adilabad district. Ebenezer alias David (54) was originally from Kagajnagar and was in the police headquarters in neredigonda mandal.

ASI David was going to work on a motorcycle with his wife when the car hit his bike from behind. David's head was severely injured and his wife had minor injuries.

The injured David was rushed to the Nirmal district headquarters immediately after the accident, but died there. David's two sons. Expressing regret over the incident, district superintendent of police Vishnu S. Warrior said the division had lost an experienced and honest officer.
