The superstar's devotion to his followers knows no bounds, and his kind deeds have been winning over hearts everywhere. A 60-year-old cancer patient who is a die-hard fan of the actor recently stated her desire to at least once meet him in person. And what's this? As they say, wishes do come true, and the patient was finally able to virtually meet the superstar.

Shivani's request was quickly granted once the news became popular on social media and spread, thanks to SRK's video conversation with her. King Khan immediately video-called Shivani after learning about her dream, and they spoke for nearly 40 minutes. At the conclusion of their meeting, SRK even pledged to provide financial support for her fight  the terminal illness.

Shivani Chakraborty, 60, a resident of Khardah, West Bengal, has been coping with terminal cancer for a number of years. She was a die-hard fan of Shah Rukh and hoped to at least once in her life meet the actor. Shivani unexpectedly received a call from none other than Shah Rukh, and soon after, images and a video of the chat went popular on social media. The actor's fan pages described how, in spite of his busy schedule, he called Shivani and spoke with her.

Shah Rukh gave her admirer a long video conversation that lasted more than 40 minutes as a surprise. Even more, the Pathaan actor promised to meet her soon and provide financial support for her medical expenses. Shivani's daughter Priya reportedly stated that Shah Rukh hoped for her mother's quick recovery and said that he would visit her Kolkata house to enjoy a home-cooked fish curry, but with one stipulation: the fish dish had to be bone-free. She stated:"SRK will pray for my mother's speedy recovery. He read a 'dua' for her. SRK promised my mum that he would come to my wedding and have fish curry made in her kitchen provided the fish did not have bones."

Shah Rukh last appeared in Sidharth Anand's Pathaan, which debuted in January of this year and quickly rose to the top of the box office. John Abraham and Deepika Padukone were also featured. He will soon be seen in the Atlee-directed film Jawan.
