NEW DELHI: After the CBI arrested former Finance Minister and Congress leader P Chidambaram in an INX media case, the political row over corruption started.  Meanwhile, an 80-year-old elderly man inside the Rouge Avenue court complex protested highlighting several cases of corruption. The old man has created a banner containing the names of scams in the country, which refer to a number of scams like telecom, fodder, Orissa mine, Madhu Koda mine, black money, 2G spectrum.

On Thursday, 80-year-old Harishankar Sharma staged a fierce protest at Rause Avenue Court in Delhi. Meanwhile, Harishankar Sharma said that so many scams have come to light but no one has been convicted so far. Today's generation only says that they are worried, but nobody is worried about it. So many scams have taken over, but nobody has been punished so far.

The CBI had registered a case in 2009 on the 2G spectrum. In 2011, DMK leader A Raja, former Telecom Secretary Siddharth Behura and former king's private secretary R K Chandolia were detained by the CBI in connection with the case. However, in 2017, the Patiala court had acquitted all the accused, including former Telecom Minister A Raja, DMK MP Kanimozhi.  Similar was the case with other scams that have angered the elderly.
