Kolkata: West Bengal CM and party supremo Mamata Banerjee has distanced herself from state industries minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) national general secretary Partha Chatterjee after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested him in a teachers' recruitment scam in West Bengal. So far, there has been no official statement from the TMC on the arrest of its minister. At the same time, arrested Partha Chatterjee was taken to ISI Hospital in Joka and got his medical examination done after he told that his health was deteriorating.

After leaving the hospital, Partha Chatterjee confessed that he had tried to get in touch with Netri, but could not be contacted. After 27 hours of questioning, minister and TMC leader Partha Chatterjee have been arrested by the ED. Trinamool Congress spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said the party is monitoring the entire situation. At the moment, he will not make any statement on the matter. The party will not take responsibility for anyone else's act. He also said that the party has nothing to do with Arpita Chatterjee.

On the other hand, senior Congress leader and Bengal Congress unit chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that ministers are being sacrificed to save Mamata Banerjee's nephew (TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee). Ever since the ED had questioned the nephew. That's where they were getting to know about it. Didi has drowned Parth da. One of the thieves (Kunal Ghosh) is giving a statement about another thief. He said that corruption in Bengal has turned into an industry and this industry has been set up by Mamata Banerjee.
