Gopalganj: The father and brother have been accused of killing a minor daughter in their deceitful glory. It is being told about the incident that the body was buried after the murder of the minor girl. The case pertains to Navka Tola under Vijaypur police station area. The deceased girl was identified as Renu Kumari, who was the 16-year-old daughter of Ramayana Rajbhar. Late on Wednesday evening, a police team, under the supervision of a magistrate, fished out the body from the grave and sent it to Sadar Hospital on Thursday morning for post-mortem. Here, other family members including the accused father and brother are on the run since the incident. Police suspect that the incident was carried out in honour killing.

According to local villagers, in the dark of the night, Ramayana Rajbhar along with his son took the body of his daughter to Bhagara Ghat near the village, where the grave was dug up and the girl buried. In the morning, he told the people that the daughter was sick, her condition was very bad due to paralysis. She was buried after death. The villagers reported it to the police. Subsequently, Kateya police, after investigation, pulled out of the grave under the supervision of a magistrate and the Kateya police station conducted post mortem of the body.

Police say that after the arrest of the father and son, the death of Renu Kumari will be exposed. The police are investigating the entire incident in depth. At the same time, the neighbours and relatives of the absconding criminal are being interrogated and the clues of the cause of death are being ascertained. Hathua SDPO Naresh Kumar said that police of Vijaypur and Kateya police stations are investigating. The body has been exhumed by digging the grave. The point of suicide and honour killing behind the girl's death is being investigated. The father has been absconding since the incident. The cause of death will be revealed after the investigation.
