At the same time, the Supreme Court today said that petitions on this issue are already pending in the Delhi High Court and in such a situation, it will hear all the petitions. Along with this, the Supreme Court has also transferred all the three petitions pending with it to the Delhi High Court for hearing.
In fact, during the hearing, the Solicitor General told the Supreme Court, "My request is that all the petitions should be heard simultaneously in Delhi or in other High Courts.'' In his statement, Justice DY Chandrachud said, "You file a transfer petition. We will send all the petitions to the High Court for hearing.'' On the other hand, the petitioner ML Sharma said, "Let the court hear us here.'' A three-judge bench hearing it said, "Those who have filed a petition in the Supreme Court. We will transfer the matter only after hearing them.'' At the same time, the Solicitor General told the court that six petitions have been filed in different High Courts against the Agnipath scheme. Justice DY Chandrachud, who was hearing the matter, said, "The petition is pending in the Delhi High Court. Let the High Court hear first so that we will have the stand of the High Court, you can transfer your petition to the High Court or you can file a fresh petition in the High Court.''
