Agneepath violence: Yogi's police to collect Rs 13 lakh from 27 miscreants, 36 vehicles damaged

LUCKNOW: The damage from protesters who indulged in violence and arson against the Agneepath scheme in Uttar Pradesh will be compensated. In fact, compensation will be recovered from 27 protesters in Varanasi on June 17 for the riots against the Agneepath scheme. The protesters damaged 36 vehicles, including roadways and private vehicles. According to the district administration, there has been a financial loss of about Rs 13 lakh.

Varanasi District Magistrate Kaushal Raj Sharma has informed that, "Those who indulge in violence against the Agneepath scheme will be compensated for the damage caused to public properties. He said a total of 36 buses were damaged by miscreants in Varanasi, in which a loss of Rs 12,97,439  was incurred. A total of 27 miscreants have been arrested so far. DM Kaushal Raj Sharma informed that miscreants have been detained from Thana Sigra and Jaitpura from Gram Sabha-Pachrukhwa, Rehri Malipur of District Ghazipur, Village-Nagoli, Saidkhanpur, Gobara, Bharipur, Lal Mazhwar, Bhagri and Khawajpura of Jaunpur, Gram Sabha Rasepur of District Azamgarh, Gram Sabha Of District Mau, Kusavu and Gram Sabha-Hathiyar of District Varanasi, Hajipur, Mudhadev, Deoraidan, Cholapur and Gosaipur.

DM Kaushal Raj Sharma has urged the youth not to come under the instigation of anyone at all and not to indulge in any anarchic act which will ruin their entire future, if they are caught and caught in any kind of illegal act, they will be deprived of government jobs in future.
