Hisar: Agro waste Biogas Plant being set up at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University in Hisar, Haryana to make farmers self-sufficient. The plant is said to be the first plant in India to solve every problem faced by farmers and also make them financially prosperous.

CNGbiogas will be manufactured at the country's first unique Agro Waste biogas plant with dung, wheat wedges, cotton sticks and dried leaves. It will be used as fuel in tractors and vehicles. After the harvest, the wastes like paddy, wood, cotton, etc., become a problem for the farmers. Farmers often burn these wastes.

But in the coming days, the farmers will not only get the money for these materials, but the farmer will be able to use his own energy through the waste materials, such as tractors, mills, tubewells, etc. This is hundred per cent true. In fact, Chaudhary Charan Singh at Hisar is setting up a special biogas plant at Haryana Agricultural University, where the University's Wise Professor K.P.
