New Delhi: Recently, Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi targeted the All India Muslim Personal Law Board and Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind over the Ayodhya case. He said that the people talking about the reconsideration petition in Ayodhya case are trying to create an atmosphere of scatter and confrontation but the society will not accept it. He also said that the Ayodhya issue has now ended after the Supreme Court's decision and there should be no attempt to confuse it as the country's top court has resolved the matter in a unanimous decision. Naqvi has targeted these two major Muslim organizations in the country when both of them have announced to file a review petition against the Supreme Court verdict within the next few days.

According to sources, Naqvi said Babri (mosque) but barabri (equality)” in the areas of education and economic and social upliftment. Targeting the Personal Law Board and Jamiat, he said that there are some isolated voices which are not of the whole society. The feeling of all sections is that the matter has been resolved by the court and we should move forward. We should not get into this. Nakvi questioned that if it (the Personal Law Board and Jamiat) were so serious, then why did they not agree to the agreement at the behest of the court? He also said that these people are trying to create an atmosphere of scatter and confrontation, but no society will accept it.

At the same time, he said that the ideal situation would be that there should not be an attempt to confuse such a decades-old case, which has been resolved by a unanimous decision by the court. He said, “All sections of the society have welcomed and respected the Supreme Court verdict. But if some people are unable to digest the fact that the unity has been strengthened after this verdict, it is sad."
