Kanpur: In Kanpur, more than Rs 200 crore has been seized from the hideouts of perfume trader Piyush Jain, just before the Uttar Pradesh elections. After the huge cash was seized, Akhilesh Yadav had asked the Government whose money was seized. When asked the question, home minister Amit Shah and now PM Narendra Modi himself in Kanpur have responded.

The two top BJP leaders said that the rupee belongs to the SP. Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi had also described the recovered money as the stink of corruption during the tenure of the previous government. In fact, Akhilesh Yadav had asked whose Rs 194 crore was seized in the raid, the government should answer on this. Responding to this, Prime Minister Modi said in a rally in Kanpur, "These people will also say in the boxes that the notes have been received in the last few days that this too has been done by the Bharatiya Janata Party."

He said, "The perfume of corruption that the previous government had sprinkled has come to the fore. But now they are sitting with their mouths locked and not taking credit for it. The Prime Minister said that the mountain of notes that everyone has seen is his (Samajwadi Party) achievement. Home Minister Amit Shah has also responded to Akhilesh's reply from the same government due to a public meeting in Hardoi. He said, "Today, he is not being able to answer because this money has come out of the SP perfume maker. Amit Shah said, "Akhileshji, don't try to scare us, we talked about eliminating black money. Today, when it is getting red, they are uneasy, 250 crore rupees have come out of the socialist perfume maker.
