Quess Corp former investor of India's famous football club East Bengal has said on Friday that it will fulfil all promises made to the club and players. Quess' statement came after the notices sent by the club players to the investors in which the players had demanded April and May salaries from the company. East Bengal has ended the contract with Quess. Quess had a 70 percent stake in the club. The agreement of these two ended on 31 May. The two had a three-year agreement, but the Bangalore-based company ended the deal within two years.

Apart from the salary of the players, the company has also clarified the situation regarding the transfer of joint venture between the two. Quess said in a statement, "It has come to our notice that such allegations and misconceptions are being spread that we have refused to give the players salaries after the agreement with the football club is over. After this, we want to make it clear that we are a responsible company and our commitments to all will be fulfilled. We are working closely with our present representative in Kolkata and trying to ensure that everything will be done without any trouble. "

"The formalities regarding the joint venture agreement are ongoing and will be completed soon. Quess will do everything to maintain the shareholders' values and take care of the future of the game and its supporters."
