Actor Farman Haider, who currently plays the lead in the television series Saavi Ki Savari, is pleased to have the chance to portray a variety of emotions. He is acting in the lead role for the first time now. He's had some interesting roles in the past, but never the lead.

Speaking of it, he claims, "I've played a variety of characters in a variety of shows in the past, whether it was a friend to the main character, a villain, or another intriguing character. I still recall the advice I received during my formative years as an actor, warning me not to accept such supporting roles lest I become typecast and lose out on opportunities to play lead roles. I'm happy I got the chance in Savi Ki Savari and showed them wrong. Since I was a new face, many would advise me to hold off until I land the lead in a show. However, I was confident that if people liked my acting and my work, they would give me a chance.

His Rakshabandhan character... It greatly aided him to watch Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhaal. "I played the negative lead character Samar and that got me a lot of appreciation, but yet again, I was discouraged by people saying that now I'll only be cast as the lead's brother or in a parallel lead role. But I'm glad things have worked out for me. Today I feel I bagged a big role because of all the other roles that I have played so far," he says.

Farman counsels aspiring actors to follow their instincts rather than rigid rules. According to Farman, who has previously appeared on programmes like Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2 and Namah Lakshmi Narayan, "From my own experiences, I would say do what your heart tells you to, whatever you believe in. All you need is to stay grounded and work hard."
