You will be surprised to know that Megha was inclined towards music and singing since the age of 6 years. It was then that she started to recite poems in Aakashvani and also sang the 10-minutes long national song Vande Mataram for Bharat Vikas Parishad.
Megha's passion for music made her opt for studies in the music profession itself. She completed her Masters in Performing Arts in 2011 from the University of Rajasthan. She was also awarded the title of Golden Voice of Rajasthan in 2006. She also won an honor in Ek Shaam Shahido Ke Naam in 2007. Further, she was also ranked among the Indian Idol's top 10 finalists and was also a Bharat ki Shaan finalist.
Recently, Megha has been provided with the Jaipur Shiromani Award in Mumbai and was also honored by Mr. Ashok Lahoti. Her career started getting prominence when she began to do live shows of Bharat ki Shaan Shahido Ke Naam. She has also given live performances with renowned singers like Udit Narayan and Anup Jalota.
Due to some personal reasons, Megha had taken a sabbatical. However, she returned back to the music industry with a bang by singing bhajans, a few originals, and cover songs. She has sung some noteworthy cover songs as a tribute to the late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar ji like Rahe Na Rahein Hum, Jaan Nisaar from the film Kedarnath and her latest one is Jeeyein Kyun.
