Wardha: The incident of assault on a woman advocate with a knife has come to light during the hearing of a case in the court of Wardha district of Maharashtra. According to the information received, criminal Bhim Govind Patil is being tried under section 307. On March 22, when advocate Yogita Moon was taking the statement of a witness in this case, Bhima Govind attacked her with a knife. Everyone present in the court was stunned by this sudden incident. However, the policemen present on the spot immediately took the criminal Bhim Govind under control.

As soon as the same complaint was received, the LCB team reached the court. The injured female advocate has been admitted to Sevagram Hospital for treatment. Police registered a case against criminal Bhim Patil and arrested him. Police is probing the matter as to how the criminal got inside the court with a knife despite tight security.
