'No problem in next phase of vaccination', meeting led by Amit Shah to be held today

New Delhi: A new phase of vaccination will begin on May 1 amid the growing havoc of corona in the country. People over the age of 18 will start getting the vaccine on Saturday. The Group of Ministers is scheduled to meet on Wednesday evening to review the preparedness. The meeting will be held in the Home Ministry led by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The meeting will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday to discuss the availability, supply, and every other aspect of the vaccine. The meeting will be attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with other ministers including Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Piyush Goyal. Cabinet Secretaries, Secretary Pharma, and Health Ministry officials will also be present.  According to sources, the Group of Ministers will discuss in the meeting that the third phase of vaccination campaign starting may 1 should not be a problem in any way and states should continue to get the vaccine at the right time.

Tell us that people over the age of 18 can register for vaccination from Wednesday to beat corona. Also, the third phase of vaccination will start from May 1. About 160 million doses of the vaccine will be available in May alone, with more than 5 million vaccinations expected daily. The meeting will prepare a roadmap for the third phase of preparations in view of the possibility of a large number of people gathering for vaccination.
