Amy Tanner, a participant on MasterChef Australia's Season 15, has spoken candidly about her time on the well-known culinary reality program. After the competitors were instructed to cook a dish over the course of two days, Tanner was recently eliminated from the competition. Before plating their meal for the judges, they were advised to spend the overnight hours engaging in complex cooking procedures including slow-cooking meat or pickling vegetables. Unfortunately, the judges were unimpressed by Amy's dish of Mexican Japanese pork tacos, and she was eliminated.

According to Amy, who spoke with Yahoo Lifestyle, the two-day cooking competition was 'daunting' because the competitors couldn't be present to constantly check their food. You won't be there if it overcooks. So thinking about it was extremely stressful, and I believe many of us didn't get much sleep that night, she said.

Amy reflected on her emotional condition and realized that she had never experienced such a wide range of feelings in her life. "I haven't really experienced that kind of tension before, so it was challenging to kind of control my emotions. You really want to succeed, and sometimes you get really frustrated about it when you don't, she said.

Tanner continued by expressing her amazement that her food did not succeed because she had previously cooked it and it was great. She continued, saying that even though she was aware of the dish's numerous flaws, she hoped it wasn't the "worst one."

According to Amy Tanner, participating in MasterChef will be the best thing she "ever does in [her] whole life."

She also mentioned how 'unforgettable' it was to hear the judges compliment her. The judges were outstanding, and to the 26-year-old medical administrator, their mentorship meant the world.  “You always took on their advice and they just wanted you to do really great and I think that was the most special part. They wouldn't say things for the sake of it and it was nice to get up close and personal with them and hear their opinions and hear their praise. It was unforgettable.”
