New Delhi: If you are thinking that lockdown is the only correct way to protect against corona virus infection, then you are thinking wrong. An international organization has claimed that the Corona virus infection has just started spreading in India. When it reaches its peak, more than 40 million people in the country will be infected with the corona virus. Let us tell that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a 21-day lockdown in the country to protect the country from the corona virus.

The Center for Disease Dynamics, Economy and Policy (CDDEP), based in Washington, US, has revealed in its recent report that lockdown cannot be the only prevention in India. If people do not stop associating with each other, then it will have very serious consequences. The CDDEP has claimed that if a similar situation prevails, by the month of July 30 million people in India can be infected with the coronavirus. Corona virus will be severely attacked on millions of people, while 20-40 lakh people will need to be admitted to the hospital.

Dr. Ramanan Laxminarayan, Director of CDDEP, in a conversation with Zee News Digital has told that the Coronavirus has just stepped into India. Lockdown is definitely a way of protection, but it is not a foolproof arrangement. Right now only 15 out of 10 lakh people in the country are being tested for virus. While many people of the country are feeling the risk of infection. The exact number of corona virus can be detected only after providing screening facility to all the citizens.
