Andhra Pradesh: The government plans to treat them at the Covid Care Center at the Village Secretariat when the severity of COVID is less and can be treated with generic medicines. In this sequence, the health department is planning to set up Covid care centers within village secretariats for small families with small houses that are not possible to isolate if they are infected with Covid.

Therefore, 5-bedded Covid Care Centers will be made in village secretariats. Officials said that arrangements are being made in view of the prediction of third wave to save the villagers from trouble. Health monitoring of Covid victims arriving at the beds set up in village secretariats has been handed over to the ANM. The management responsibilities are taken care of by the Ward Secretary and food and medicines are provided by the Secretariat staff. If the severity of Covid is high, inform the Panchayat Secretary or Tehsildar.

The officials will take you to the nearest hospital. The Family Welfare Department will provide necessary medical equipment to the Covid Care Center to be set up in the village secretariats. Initially, it is estimated that beds will be set up in 11,789 village secretariats across the state. 4 to 5 beds have been arranged in each covid center. Chittoor district has the maximum number of 1,186 small COVID care centers. Officials said the process would start as predicted for the third wave.
