Amravati: Andhra Pradesh government has declared Telangana and Karnataka as high-risk zones. AP is in the high-risk area in view of increasing cases of corona in Telangana and Karnataka. KS Jawahar Reddy, Special Principal Secretary, State Health Department, has also issued orders in view of this matter on Monday. According to his order, "Changing the quarantine policy of those coming from other states to Andhra Pradesh has also been decided."

He said, "The quarantine period of those coming from abroad has been reduced from 14 days to 7 days. Those coming from abroad will now be tested for COVID-19 on the 5th and 7th day. Similarly, there has also been talk about random testing of travellers coming from different provinces of the country."

According to his order, swab testing has also been done at the airport. Random testing of the passengers coming from the train will be done and they will also be ordered to stay in home quarantine for 14 days. Those who enter AP by roadways will also have to undergo swab testing and will have to get permission through e-portal. It has also been said that if a person is found corona positive, then he will be sent to covid Hospital.
