Dehradun: Uttarakhand's Haridwar MP Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that the day is not far when the Congress party will be wiped out from India. Impressed by the unprecedented work of the BJP, the BJP's clan is constantly growing today. Influenced by PM Modi's public welfare policies, people from other political parties are also joining the BJP. He said this while giving membership to many Congress leaders of the BJP.

On Thursday, BJP MP Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank inducted Sushil Pengowal, former state president of Congress's SC-ST cell, into the BJP at the district office of Haridwar. During the panchayat elections, Nishank has given a big blow to Congress. Sushil Pengowal is considered close to former CM Harish Rawat and holds a hold in the SC-ST community.

On this occasion, the MP said that the BJP government is dedicated to the poor of the country. Be it villages, poor, farmers, Dalits, victims, or exploited, the BJP government is working day and night by taking all sections along. After 2014, the historic work that has been done for the upliftment of Dalit society has not been done even in the last 50 years. This society has been used only as a vote bank by Congress and the Bahujan Samaj Party. Dr Nishank called upon the workers to give a historic victory to the BJP in the panchayat elections to be held in Haridwar. He said that by winning as many Zila panchayat seats as possible, make the BJP victorious by winning with record votes. The programme was presided over by BJP district president Dr Jaipal Singh Chauhan. Former MP Harpal Sathi, Anil Arora, Vikas Tiwari, Adesh Saini, Sandeep Goyal, Love Sharma, Ashu Chaudhary, Om Prakash Jamadagni, Dr Rampal, Arvind Gautam, Manvendra Singh were present on the occasion.
