Officials said the soldier had been undergoing treatment since April and was later found positive with the coronavirus, which led to his death. This is the third death in CRPF and 11th in Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) or paramilitary force due to coronavirus. Due to the Corona epidemic, four personnel have been killed in Central Industrial Security Force, two in Border Security Force, one each in Sashastra Seema Bal and Indo-Tibetan Border Police. CAPF has recorded 1,550 cases of coronavirus infection, of which 1,100 patients have been cured.
