Devadiga Premier League(DPL)Season 8 held at Purandare Stadium, Dadar on March 27, 2022 was organized by a 100-year-old Devadiga Sangha with the prime cause to bring people of the same community in one shelter and represent their talent. Devadiga Premier League(DPL) Season 8 was primarily sponsored by one of India’s finest companies, Reliance Industries, who is shaping the future of Indian Economy.
More than 70 people from the Tulu Nada community participated in the event & created a nerve-cracking experience of cricket. The participants who participated in the event were people from various corners of Mumbai. Devadiga Sangha has taken an initiative to bridge people of the Devadiga community from every corner of Mumbai through their respective LCC i.e. Local Coordination Center. The participants were from the following LCC's: Thane, Borivali/ Mira Road, Dadar, Asalpha, Dombivili, Bhandup, Navi Mumbai and Jogeshwari.
Out of which Mira Road Panthers had represented themselves in Devadiga Sangha Football League and had scored maximum goals. But unfortunately couldn’t bag the title cup for Season 4 ; but a wise man once said that good things come to those who wait. Anudhya XI a subsidiary of Mira Road Panther in the Cricket Division bags its first title cup in Devadiga Premier League Season 8 sponsored by India’s finest company Reliance Industries. Anudhya XI not only created a nerve cracking experience in the Purandare Stadium, but was also one of the team's to score the highest runs in Devadiga Premier League Season 8. Apart from the title Anudhya XI also bagged the Man Of The Match & Man Of The Series Cup for the season, by glorious performance presented by Krishna Sherigar & Ritesh Devadiga. Anudhya XI was primarily backed by Chirping Mantis an efficient digital marketing startup that has provided effective digital marketing services to more than 150 clients in three years. After Chirping Mantis represented for Delhi Binny Brigade in Tennis Premier League Season 3 which was backed by Sneh Patel- the owner of Binny’s Jewelry and Divya Kumar Khosla- the Chairman & Managing Director Of T-series. Abhijeet Devadiga the Owner of Chirping Mantis keeps a huge belief in Mira Road Panthers & the youngsters being a part of it one way or another in various categories of sports to step forward and represent their talent. Only way to represent your talent is by participating in various tournaments held around either on a community or on a district level.
