Anurag joined this Protest and he also tweeted a tweet in this regard. Recently, he tweeted and wrote, 'Today I went to Mumbai Bagh. Like Shaheen Bagh, many mothers, sisters, and women are sitting in Nawapada to fight the constitutional battle for their rights. Let's stand with them and encourage them. There is talk of removing them from there. Let's support them.' With this, he said in his speech, "This struggle is long. This government is hoping that you lose hope but you do not lose hope. This fight of ours will be fought in a non-violent way only."

Anurag has been strongly opposing the CAA-NRC for some time and he also appeared in the Protest in Mumbai against the CAA law.
