New Delhi: Army Chief Manoj Mukund Narwane visited Ladakh amidst the escalating conflict between India and China on the Line of Actual Control (LaC). On Friday, Army Chief Manoj Mukund Narwane reached the 14 Corps headquarters in Ladakh on a tour of the lake. During this, the Chief of Army Staff reviewed the security-related things here. This area is considered very sensitive and there remains infiltration of China along with Pakistan. Army Chief Narwane returned to Delhi after visiting the 14 Corps at Leh.

The army chief did this during India's refusal of China's charge, in which Beijing alleged that Indian troops on the border started tensions and crossed the LAC in Ladakh and Sikkim sectors. China had alleged that Chinese soldiers were obstructed to impose patrolling on the Indian border. During the visit to Ladakh, Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane was also present on the border with Lieutenant General YK Joshi, Chief of the Northern Command.

14 Corps Commander Lt. Harinder Singh was also present to check the situation with these two. No information was given by the army about this tour. But it is being said that the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China has been asked to respond on the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
