The citizenship bill has become law after passing from the Indian Parliament. On the other hand, after the government's decision to abolish most of the provisions of Article 370 of the Constitution in Jammu and Kashmir, a decision is being read in the Supreme Court on the petitions of Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and others against the restrictions imposed in this former state. The Supreme Court has said that there has been a lot of violence in Kashmir. We will try our best to balance human rights and freedom with the issue of security. The internet should be stopped by a deadline. The court said that there is no doubt that freedom of speech is an essential element in a democratic system. The right to use the Internet is a fundamental right under Article 19 (1) (a).

Regarding the matter, the court has asked the Jammu and Kashmir government to review all restrictive orders within a week. It may be noted that a three-member bench of Justice NV Raman, Justice R Subhash Reddy and Justice BR Gavai challenged these restrictions. The hearing on the petitions was completed on November 27 last year.
