Mumbai: The country's famous writer Chetan Bhagat is celebrating his 48th birthday today. People like Chetan Bhagat's novel very much. Chetan went against his family and married his girlfriend Anusha. Chetan Bhagat has written many best-seller novels. After this, he decided to do screenplay writing from the film 'Kick'. Chetan was born on this day, 1974, in Delhi. Chetan's father was in the army and his mother was in a government job. He did his early education at Military School, Delhi. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi. He has studied MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. Chetan and Anusha's love story took off from the IIM campus of Ahmedabad. Chetan Punjabi and Anusha belonged to a Tamil family. Chetan's parents were against their relationship. But Chetan did not leave Anusha's side. Chetan and Anusha had decided that they would get married only with the blessings of the family. Both waited a long time and finally, they got the approval of the family members.

After studying IIM, Chetan Bhagat worked as an investment banker for about 11 years. He was at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong and then at Deutsche Bank. After this, in the year 2009, Chetan Bhagat settled in Mumbai. Chetan's wife Anusha also works in the bank. It was very difficult for Chetan Bhagat to leave his job and become a writer. He wrote the first 3 books of his career, Five Point Someone, One Night at the Call Center, and 3 Mistakes of My Life while working in a bank. After this, a French journalist advised him to write. After this, after shifting to Mumbai in the year 2009, Chetan decided to quit his job and do full-time writing.

Films have also been made on 5 novels of Chetan Bhagat. Released in the year 2008, the film 'Hello' was based on Chetan Bhagat's novel 'One Night at Call Centre'. At the same time, in the year 2013, the film 'Kai Po Che' was made on Chetan Bhagat's novel '3 Mistakes of My Life'. Chetan Bhagat's novel 'Five Pointsomeone' was made into '3 Idiots' film in the year 2009, which was a super hit. After this, the film '2 States' released in the year 2014 was based on Chetan Bhagat's novel '2 States'. Along with this, the film 'Half Girlfriend' released in the year 2017 was made on Chetan Bhagat's novel 'Half Girlfriend'.
