Itanagar: The number of infected people in Arunachal Pradesh has increased to 36,168 after 311 new cases of corona infection were reported. State Monitoring Officer (SSO) Dr. L. Jampa informed that the death toll increased to 176 after four more people died of infection. Two of them were from Namsai, one from Changlang and one from the Capital Complex area.

Out of the new 311 cases, the Capital Complex region has the highest number of 80 cases, Upper Subansiri 30, West Kameng 27, Anjo and Changlang 20-20, Lower Dibang Valley 19, Papumpara 15, East Siang 14, and Lohit 13. New cases of infection have also been registered in Leprada, Lower Subansiri, Tirup, Longding, Kamle, West Siang, Pakke Kesang, Siang, East Kameng, Kra Dadi districts.

The official informed that out of the new 311 cases, 294 cases were reported in rapid antigen investigations, eight in RT-PCR investigations, and nine cases in 'Truenate' investigations. Of these, 168 people had symptoms of Covid-19. The state is currently undergoing treatment for the coronavirus infection of 2,783 people. The number of people who became transition-free in the state increased to 33,209 after 286 people recovered on Thursday.
