New Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal has thanked the Central government and the High Court for increasing the oxygen quota in the country's capital Delhi. According to delhi government estimates, UT needed 700 tonnes of oxygen per day. The Centre had earlier fixed it at 378 tonnes, but has now increased it to 480 tonnes. At the same time, Kejriwal has urged all state governments to fight the corona crisis together.

CM Kejriwal further said, "The central government determines the oxygen quota. Oxygen is not produced in Delhi, all oxygen comes from other states. Some of the states where oxygen companies are in, the state governments stopped supply of Delhi quota oxygen from those companies. The states said that we will also use the quota of Delhi, we will not allow delhi trucks to go. I would like to thank the Central Government and the Delhi High Court, in the last two-three days, they have helped us a lot, which has now led to oxygen reaching Delhi."

Kejriwal further said, "Our oxygen quota has increased and a lot of oxygen has to come from Odisha. It will take a few days for the increased quota of oxygen to reach Delhi, we are trying to get oxygen from the plane. This is a big disaster, if we are divided into Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, West Bengal, India will not survive, at this time we have to help each other. If Delhi has more oxygen than required, we will give it to other states."
