Owaisi attacks Congress, says 'Party leaders have a lot of money'

Congress is the most opposed to the Civil Amendment Act in India. Apart from Congress, many opposition parties are also opposing this bill. Please tell that MP from Hyderabad and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has attacked the Congress in a befitting manner. He appealed to the people that the Congress leaders have a lot of money, if they are giving you money then take it. Since you are getting this money because of me, I will vote for me. But I tell the Congress that my price is not only 2000 rupees. My price is more than this, so Congress should increase this rate.

According to media reports that during the Punjab Assembly elections, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had made a similar appeal. Kejriwal had told the people in Punjab that if people of the opposition party give you money, then take it but vote for the Aam Aadmi Party. Expressing displeasure over this statement, the Election Commission had instructed him not to give such a statement again. However, later Kejriwal had said that I have tried to stop bribery in elections with my statement.

Apart from this, when asked about violence during the protest against CAA in another case, Owaisi said that he condemns such violence, whether it is in Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru or elsewhere. The AIMIM leader said that he appealed to everyone to exercise constitutional right to protest, but violence should be condemned by all. When asked about the rally against CAA organized by AIMIM and others here on Saturday, he said that CAA is "black law" and it is also "unconstitutional".
