Melbourne: The news of a heart attack has come to light for Rod Marsh, the third most successful wicketkeeper of the Australia cricket team. Marsh, 74, suffered a heart attack while on his way to Bundaberg for an event for the Bulls Masters charity group. Bulls Masters organizers John Glanville and David Hillier then admitted him to a hospital in Queensland, where he is being treated.

He has the most wickets behind the wicket at 355 behind Adam Gilchrist (416) and Ian Healy (395). Jimmy Maher of Bulls Masters told News Corp that, 'A lot of credit goes to John and Dave, because the doctors told him that if they had waited for an ambulance, he (Marsh) might not have survived.'
