Ayodhya has undergone a thorough makeover, and ISKCON plans various events globally on January 22, including Ram Katha and Bhandaras. The idol of Shri Ram Lalla, crafted by Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj, was recently placed inside the temple's Sanctum Santorum, with the first photo revealing the veiled idol during the ceremony.

In light of the upcoming ceremony, the Centre declared a half-day for government offices and institutions on January 22, with public-sector banks allowing early departure for their staff.
