Chhatarpur: Acharya Dhirendra Shastri, the Katha Vachak of Bageshwar Dham, has reached Prayagraj city of UP. He will take a dip in faith after reaching the ongoing Magh Mela at Sangam. Pt Acharya Dhirendra Shastri will meet saints and seers at the Nirmohi Akhara's Sant Santosh Das (Satua Baba) and seek their blessings. Acharya Dhirendra Shastri will also seek the support of saints for the campaign being run for a Hindu Rashtra here. Preparations have been made for his arrival at Satua Baba's place. After reaching Magh Mela, Pandit Acharya Dhirendra Shastri will take a dip of faith in the triveni of Sangam. After that, can also go to the camp of other saints for about 5 to 6 hours and seek their blessings. He is also likely to visit the Vishwa Hindu Parishad camp. There is a lot of enthusiasm among saints, Kalpavasis and their supporters about the arrival of Pandit Acharya Dhirendra Shastri. People are eager to come to Satua Baba's place and meet him.

Acharya Dhirendra Shastri will give a big message for the strengthening of the Hindu religion by awakening the spirit of Hindutva from Magh Mela. At the same time, VHP has said to support Pandit Acharya Dhirendra Shastri's campaign and stand with him. After leaving the Magh Mela, Shastri will go to Maa Sheetla Kripa Mahotsav at Meja, 50 km from the city, and narrate a Katha to lakhs of devotees. Acharya Dhirendra Shastri has been in the limelight ever since the Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti accused him of promoting superstition and witchcraft. Shyam Manav, chairman of the committee, had claimed that Acharya Dhirendra Shastri promotes 'witchcraft' under the guise of 'Divya Darbar' and 'Pret Darbar'. He had also accused Acharya Dhirendra Shastri of looting, cheating, and exploiting common people.

Pt Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh is a Katha Vachak. He claims that he can read minds. Videos of his Katha often go viral, in which he is seen doing so. As the popularity increased, Pt Dhirendra Shastri started getting calls for stories from different regions of the country. In one such Katha, he went to Nagpur. This Katha was to go on till January 13, but Shastri returned on January 11. There is an organization of Maharashtra - Maharashtra Blind faith Eradication Committee. Shyam Manav of this institution said- Dhirendra Shastri practices magic in the name of Shastri and promotes superstition. He also demanded the police to take action against Dhirendra Shastri. Maharashtra has a law to eradicate superstition, which provides action against those who spread superstition. The institution demanded action under this law. The committee also challenged Dhirendra Shastri to come and show the miracles he claims in his divine court and show them on their stage. If they do so, they will be given Rs 30 lakh but Shastri did not accept the challenge. In fact, as mentioned above, he returned two days ago, finishing the Katha. On this, a section of the people started claiming on social media that he ran away in fear. However, a lot of people are also writing in support of him. Pandit Dhirendra Shastri also accepted the challenge later.
