Varanasi: Examination dates have been announced for admission to the Graduate and Post Graduate in the academic session 2020-2021 at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The exam will be conducted between 16 and 31 August. VC Prof. The decision was taken in a meeting of faculty heads and University Admission Coordination Board headed by Rakesh Bhatnagar. The university administration has stepped up other preparations with the proposed date.

According to the information received by the Vice-Chancellor, about 1.25 lakh candidates have applied for admission in undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the university session 2020-2021. The university had earlier set the date for the entrance exam from 10 July to 29 July, but it was decided to postpone it due to the increasing infection of Corona. Keeping in mind the guidelines of unlock 2.0, the date of conducting the entrance examination has been proposed between August 16 to 31.

However, the entrance tests on these dates will be conducted on the basis of the situation of coronavirus and the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, UGC. Information related to the entrance exams can be obtained from the university website bhu.ac.in.
