Sourav Ganguly leaves for Dubai ahead of IPL, shares picture

IPL 13 is going to start soon. It is going to start on September 19. There has been big news about BCCI president Sourav Ganguly. He has left for Dubai. This T20 tournament is going to be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is also reported that defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) are going to face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the opening match of the tournament. Before going to Dubai, Sourav Ganguly posted a picture on his Instagram. Posting this picture, he wrote in the caption, "My first flight in 6 months will go to Dubai for IPL... Life changes," he said.

Ganguly is seen wearing mask and face shield in this photo. It is part of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) at the time of flight during the Covid-19 pandemic which Ganguly has also followed. Brijesh Patel is currently in Dubai. He is the chairman of IPL and is among the key officials.
