Kolkata: In the West Bengal teacher recruitment scam, one after the other, the names of the leaders of the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) are coming to the fore. After the arrest of Trinamool MLA Jeeban Krishna Saha from Baranya in Murshidabad, now the name of another MLA has come to the fore in corruption. Serious allegations have been levelled against TMC MLA Tapas Saha from Tehatta in Nadia. On the basis of those allegations, the Calcutta High Court, while hearing today, i.e., on Tuesday, has ordered a CBI inquiry against him. Along with this, the Bengal Police has been instructed to submit the documents related to them.

Let us tell you that it is claimed that some papers have been found against the accused MLA, due to which the CBI wants to take this matter in hand. While hearing this matter, the Calcutta High Court has ordered an inquiry. While hearing the case, Justice Raja Shekhar Mantha of the Calcutta High Court ordered a CBI inquiry. He directed the investigating officer (IO) to hand over all the documents in the case to the CBI within fifteen days. He said in his order that "the investigation can be transferred even if the person being investigated is an influential person in the state. It is already too late in this matter.

He said that not only investigation is necessary, but transparent investigation is also needed so that people have faith in the state's investigative agencies. But giving the same case to two investigative agencies will increase the complexity further. Confusion can arise. The CBI has already sent some influential people to jail. The statements of the remaining accused cannot leave the court in doubt about the role of the main accused."
