Jaipur: A 22-year-old youth was murdered late night in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. The incident is of Kotwali police station. There is an atmosphere of tension in the area as the matter is related to two communities. Police has deployed force in the area to control the situation and internet service has been suspended at 6 am on May 12. At the same time, the BJP, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Hindu Jagran Manch have announced a bandh over the issue.
According to media reports, the incident happened on Tuesday night, when 22-year-old Hindu youth Adarsh Tapadia was stabbed to death by members of another community, allegedly over a money dispute. He was going on a scooty from Shastri Nagar in Sanganer town at the time of the incident. Meanwhile, the accused stopped him and adopted him with knives. After this the young man was taken to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, but doctors declared him brought dead. The relatives of the deceased said that they would not pick up the dead body until the accused were arrested. The maternal uncle of the deceased claimed that his nephew was killed under Purani. Some of the accused are also minors.
According to the report, apart from the knife, Adarsh was also attacked with a bar. His legs were broken. The police have now taken three suspects into custody. Preliminary investigation revealed that Adarsh's brother Honey had an argument with some minor boys, who were called for questioning by the police. The family is adamant that the killers will be arrested only then the dead body will be picked up. In such a situation, police have been deployed outside the hospital as well.
