National Investigation Agency arrested DU professor, Know complete matter

The National Investigation Agency on Tuesday, in the Bhima Koregaon Yalgar Parishad case, has taken a Delhi University professor, Honey Babu MT into custody by the police. The National Investigation Agency has accused the professor of spreading Maoist ideology. A spokesman for the National Investigation Agency said in his statement that Professor Honey Babu is a resident of Gautam Buddha Nagar in UP. He is an Associate Professor in the English Department of DU.

According to National Investigation Agency sources, due to the investigation, Honey Babu was promoting Maoist activities and ideology. He was involved in conspiring with other criminals. Honey Babu will be presented today in the Special Court of National Investigation Agency in Mumbai. The National Investigation Agency started investigating the case in January this year. Earlier on 14 April, Anand Teltumbde and Gautam Naulakha were taken into custody by the National Investigation Agency.

The Yalgar Parishad conference was held on 31 December 2017. Here some provocative speeches were given by intellectuals. Due to which violence erupted on the next day on 1 January 2018 near Bhima Koregaon War Memorial in Pune city. A young man lost his life in this. Public property worth crores was damaged. In this whole case, 19 people including Arun Thomas Ferreira, Rona Jacob Wilson, Sudhir Pralhad Dhawale were accused. The investigation by the police is going on continuously.
