Bhopal: Electronic shops were closed due to lockdown. Along with this, mobile shops have been closed for 63 consecutive days. During this time, the shopkeepers have suffered a lot. But with the rise of Corona infection, opportunities have arisen again for shop operators. The reason for this was 'Work from home' and the online classes of students started. Although mobile has become expensive by 15 to 20 percent due to increasing demand, people are also buying them in a strong way. Due to insufficient stock, shop operators are not getting much benefit from increasing demand. As shops are closed people are also buying online.

Navin Ahuja, the mobile shop operator located in the city's New Market, said that the shop opened after a long period of lockdown. Initially, mobiles of all prices were sold, but now the stock is declining. Although customers demand low-priced smartphones, the stock is not available as per the demand. The demand for smartphones has also increased by 20 percent.

Mobile shop operator Gaurav Mirchandani said that before the lockdown on the smartphone, 12 percent GST was used, which is now 18 percent. The tax has increased by six percent. Due to this, mobiles have also become expensive by 15 to 20 percent.
