Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal, there has been big negligence of the electricity department. A woman living in a slum of Bhim Nagar has been given an electricity bill of more than 13 thousand. In this case, reforms have been done when the Minister of Energy Pradyuman Singh Tomar gave instructions. The woman has been given a revised electricity bill of Rs 212.

The woman (Nirmala Bai) living in the slums of Bhim Nagar had received an electricity bill of more than 13 thousand. As soon as the woman saw the bill of such a large amount, then she lost her senses. Distressed, she complained about this by visiting the bungalow of the Energy Minister. Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar was shocked when he saw the electricity bill. He then went to her slum in the car, and after seeing the slum there, he called the officials and employees of the electricity department. During this time, the Energy Minister looked into the slum and found that there is neither a TV nor a fridge. There is the only bulb in the name of light.

In her complaint, the woman told the Energy Minister, "Two months ago, a new meter of electricity has been installed in her house and there has been a high bill even though there is no device for consumption. At the behest of the minister, the electricity employees checked the electricity meter, and they found that according to the consumption, the electricity bill of Nirmala Bai is only 212 rupees. He then gave the woman a revised electricity bill of Rs 212. During this time, the Minister of Power Pradyuman Singh Tomar told the officials of the Electricity Department that the problems of the people should be resolved soon, so that they do not have to go to the power office repeatedly and bills should not be given only after a thorough examination of the electricity meter. So this brings disrepute to the department itself.
